Longines has been synonymous with elegance and precision since its founding in 1832. With a long history of watchmaking excellence, the Swiss brand has produced some of the most refined timepieces of the 20th century. Longines innovated the production of watches by bring all craftsmen under one roof and making parts within strict tolerances so they would be interchangable. Many more brands followed and this way of production became the standard for Swiss watchmakers. In the 1960s, Longines was at the forefront of innovation, crafting watches that combined technical mastery with understated sophistication.

This dresswatch (Ref. 7515) from circa 1966 embodies the Longines philosophy perfectly. Encased in a beautifully crafted 18K yellow gold case measuring 34mm in diameter, this timepiece exudes timeless charm. The slim profile, combined with  plexiglass crystal, enhances its vintage appeal. Powered by the renowned Longines Caliber 30L, a manual-winding movement known for its reliability and precision, this watch remains a testament to Longines’ watchmaking expertise. The watch is paired with a high-quality shell cordovan strap, adding a refined touch to its elegant design.

A watch like this is more than just a timepiece; it’s a statement of sophistication and an appreciation of fine watchmaking craftsmanship. Whether worn on special occasions or as a daily companion, this Longines dress watch is a piece of horological history that continues to impress.
