The art of niello, craftsmanship from a era which has long gone by… Especially popular in the beginning of the twentieth century, this technique combines silver with a darker colored metal inlay, creating a “black & white” pattern. Huguenin Freres specialized in the production of niello cases and gained worldwide fame. The knife edge case design gives it a very thin appearance and with a very subtle niello inlay in the edges of the case. Watches of this age being preserved in this condition are highly unusual and hard to find. High quality workmanship combined with a fantastic condition make this watch an fantastic addition to any watch collection.
