DESCRIPTION

Since its founding in 1848, Omega has built a reputation for precision, innovation and timeless design. From observatory chronometer competitions to becoming one of Switzerland’s most respected manufactures, Omega’s mid-century watches remain highly regarded among collectors.

This vintage Omega dresswatch, reference 2910, dates to approximately 1958. The stainless steel case measures 34mm (excluding crown), a refined and versatile size that wears elegantly on most wrists. The watch is fitted with a plexiglass crystal and features an 18mm lug width, currently paired with a leather strap and generic buckle. Its clean lines and balanced proportions are characteristic of Omega’s late-1950s design language.

Inside ticks the manually wound Omega calibre 284, a reliable and well-finished movement known for its durability and smooth operation. This hand-wound calibre offers the tactile pleasure of daily interaction, appreciated by enthusiasts who value traditional watchmaking.

For the collector, this piece represents more than a timekeeper — it is a tangible link to the golden era of Swiss watchmaking. A versatile addition to any vintage collection, suitable for both formal wear and everyday refinement. Interested in adding this 1950s Omega to your collection? CONDITION

In terms of condition, this watch presents itself very well for a piece dating back to 1958. The original dial shows light patina consistent with its age, adding character without detracting from legibility or overall appearance. The stainless steel case remains in good condition, having been lightly polished in the past, and displays normal signs of wear that are to be expected from a vintage watch of this era. The original steel crown, signed with the Omega logo, is still present. The plexiglass crystal is in good condition, free from scratches; while it is most likely original (it is not signed).

The Omega calibre 284 movement (serial number 16276xxx) has been fully ensuring reliable performance. We offer a 12-month warranty on the proper functioning of the movement. The watch is fitted with a brand new genuine leather strap by Happel, paired with a generic stainless steel buckle (not Omega).
