DESCRIPTION

Beauty comes with age… This dial developed a stunning patina over the past 80 year. A stunning example of a very early steel Omega wristwatch, made just a few years after the introduction of the legendary 30T2 movements. The case is a two-piece case with rather unusual case construction. The movement is enclosed in the caseback and snaps together with the front of the case. Another great feature if the stunning blue second hands combined with the steel leaf hands. You won’t come across a unique watch like this anytime soon…

CONDITION

The watch is very good condition. The case is unpolished and the original brushed finish on the side of the case and lugs is still visible. The crown is original, although it is not signed with Omeg logo (which was not yet done in this era). The dial is original and has an attractive patina/discoloration. The hands are original and in very good condition. The crystal is a brand new generic replacement (without Omega logo). The watch has been fully serviced, which means the movement has been completely dissembled and all parts have been cleaned and checked for wear. After cleaning, the movement has been assembled, lubricated and adjustments were made to ensure proper functioning and accuracy.
